Version 25 is our biggest under-the-hood update yet, plus a brand new blog listing experience and a handy new template for reviewing your theme modules. Here's what's new:
New Module Library template
A live, single-page catalog of every Redwood Industrial module, so you and your team can see how your current theme settings (colors, typography, buttons, spacing) apply across the whole set at a glance. Create a new page from this template any time you want a fresh snapshot — heads up that editing the template later won't update pages you've already created from it.
Introducing Blog Listing v2
A brand new blog listing module and template built on HubSpot's native blog pagination, tag URLs, and site search:
- Grid or list layout
- Two optional tag filter dropdowns
- Full style control over cards, tags, pagination, and featured image crop
- No more Load More button — pagination is now native, so it plays nicer with search engines and page speed
Your original Blog List template and Blog Isotope Listing module are sticking around, so nothing changes on existing blogs unless you decide to switch. To move a blog over, assign the new Redwood Industrial - Blog List v2 template in Settings → Website → Blog (or add the Blog Listing module to any listing page).
Recent Blog Posts — Image Aspect Ratio
The old pixel-height slider for the featured image is now a simple aspect ratio choice: 16:9 (default), 4:3, 3:2, or 1:1 — the same pattern already used on Products Listing. Existing instances will display at 16:9 until you pick a different ratio.
New Last Menu Item padding controls
Theme Settings → Header → Last Menu Item now includes dedicated Last Menu Vertical Padding and Last Menu Horizontal Padding fields (10px / 16px by default) for your GET A QUOTE button or similar. These, along with text size and corner radius in that section, are now precise number inputs instead of sliders.
Smoother transparent header
When your sticky header transitions from transparent to the solid bar on scroll, the background, shadow, menu link color, and top gradient (if enabled) now ease in over 0.3 seconds instead of snapping into place.
Faster Products Listing and Blog Isotope Listing
We removed the Isotope library from both modules. Filtering and "show more" now run on lighter native JavaScript and CSS flex layout — same look, less weight for your pages to load. Search on Blog Isotope Listing now uses native HubSpot site search instead of filtering cards on the page.
New SVG header and footer logos
Template defaults now use SVG logo files instead of PNG for crisper logos at any size. If your header still shows your brand logo (not the theme default), you won't see any change — but if your footer instance still points at the old PNG, just re-select the SVG in that module.
Under the hood, we also refactored how module CSS and JavaScript load across the whole theme for better performance — but your existing pages will look and behave the same, so there's nothing you need to do there.
We hope you enjoy our continued efforts to make our Redwood themes as great and powerful as possible! Keep the feedback and questions coming in, because that is what drives most of our updates.
